Swing Set

We had been talking about (and researching) getting a swing set for Zane (and Nolan) in the back yard for most of the summer. While the park is close by, it would be so much more convenient (especially with a new baby on the way) to just send Zane into the backyard whenever he wants. In the end, we have Mimi and PopPop (Paul's parents) to thank for the giant birthday/Christmas purchase a couple of weeks ago.

Zane sends thanks to the following regarding the the swing set:

To Mimi and PopPop: Thanks for the research, the purchase, and for spending an entire day at our house waiting for its delivery while we were at work.

To Daddy, Uncle Jay, Aunt Meg, Denise, PopPop, and Mark for their help in various stages of construction (which was a total of about 9 or 10 hours after the parts were sorted/organized).

To Mimi and Debbie: thanks for keeping various kiddos occupied and out of trouble during construction (especially when Mommy had to work Saturday a.m.).

To Alex, Cole, Vance, and Kylee: for the entertainment of small friends and thorough testing of the swing set during and after construction.

Sadly for Zane, it's raining today and he can't go out to play on the new swing set...he keeps asking when the sun will come out! Good news is that we got it together early enough in the fall that he should have many pleasant afternoons to go out and explore all its parts!
